On January 24th our guest speakers were Heather Stein and Adrian Dissis-Ferrentino from  the Tim Tebow Foundation<\/strong><\/em> \u2013 A Night to Shine. This year the event will be held on February 9th at the Polish American Club.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Night to Shine<\/strong><\/em> is an unforgettable prom night experience! It is a  complimentary event for people with special needs hosted by local churches around the world. The event is open to anyone living with disabilities, ages 14 and older. Although each event is a little bit different, some activities included are a red carpet entrance, limousine rides, dancing, karaoke, gifts, a catered dinner, a Respite Room for parents and caregivers, a crowning ceremony where every honored guest will receive a crown or tiara, and more.  A Night to Shine is a celebration of God\u2019s love for these Kings and Queens!<\/p>\n

Heather & Adrian encouraged everyone to \u201clook for what is there, not what is not. . .this goes beyond one night in February.\u201d<\/p>\n

This is the 10th year of Night to Shine Worldwide<\/strong><\/em>, and the 5th event in Indian River County. Participants include our local law enforcement personnel, students, churches, teachers and people of all backgrounds in the community.<\/p>\n

At the end of the presentation we awarded them a $2,000 check. Heather & Adrian thanked us for our club\u2019s support. More volunteers are needed so that each participant has a buddy (age 16 or older). For more information or to register contact www.LFChurch.com.<\/p>\n
