At the end of the school year, we choose a few from that pool of students and we honor them with the Youth of the Year awards.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It is with great pride that the Exchange Club of Sebastian announced their male and female Youth of the Year recipients at the April 20th luncheon meeting. These young adults have attained high levels of scholastic achievement, community involvement and leadership.<\/p>\n<p>They were selected from this year\u2019s monthly award recipients, based in part on an essay which each of them wrote. <em><strong>They each received $1000 from Sebastian Exchange Club<\/strong> <\/em>and will attend the Exchange Club District Convention in May. If they win the district award they will compete at the Exchange Club National Convention where a $10,000 scholarship will be given out to the winner.
